2010-Jun.19 Boys Back Home & Steak to boot!

Pa and Nana took the boys home, well there was a motive behind this. Bryan said that he would "cook" for us. Mmm, we'll see what that would be.

Jackson & Parker back home now! Parker was trying to get around Jackson and was sitting on or laying on top of Jackson and when Bryan told Jackson to move out of his way/get up so he won't hurt you, Jackson just started crying. Don't cry sweetie, it will be okay.

"Parker sees someone in the mirror!"

"Well, I like to play with him."

"Hey, he looks pretty cute, huh?!?"

"Nana, I hungy, please, feed me." "Okay, Munchkin."

"Yummy, Beans with rice."

Supper is ready, and what a supper Bryan made on the pit. He did so good. Jackson was eating Spaghetti, and I was eating my Steak, baked potato and fresh corn on the cob. Jackson said, "Look Nana, Hook 'em Horns." I looked up and he was making the hook 'em horns sign with his fingers. And he is covered in spaghetti.
Daddy said I have to eat my corn on the cob too and then he will give me a bath. Okay Daddy.

Jackson says, "Don't bug me, I watchn SpongeBob."

Okay boys, Pa and Nana going home now. We love you. See ya!

and be good too! Mom will be home soon, so be good for Daddy.

Pa will be back tomorrow to mow your grass. But first he will mow Great-Grandpa's yard, but that is only after he moves the portable building from MawMaw's shop to our house. He is scheduled to get up at 6 am Sunday to move that building with Tom (his friend). He emptied the building out on Friday. So he is busy on Father's Day - no rest for him even today! John Thomas brought him a dozen chocolate chip cookies and a cute card, and he even had Joseph and Nana sign it. Joseph & I will have to take him out to eat-LuRaq's maybe!!

2010-Jun.19 GoOoOoDd MmOoRrnNiINngG To You & You

Jackson ate Blueberry Waffles this morning for breakfast while Nana was feeding Parker his cereal and applesauce. Well, there was one waffle leftover and Nana was going to eat it, but Parker - Munchkin - wanted a nibble. He took a little nibble and Nana had to get her own waffle. Parker nibbled on that waffle for a long time, until Nana saw him yawning and scratching his head, which means he's getting tired. Nana cleaned him up, changed his diaper, he crawled around a little while, and then off for a nap.



Jackson just couldn't resist getting one more bite of waffle that Parker had.

Parker getting tired and sleepy and ready for a nap. Look who's crawling around at Nana & Pa house. Yes, instead of sliding around- I pick his tummy up and off he goes. He just needs to be reminded to crawl "off" of the floor.

After Breakfast, Pa and Jackson were playing around on our bed. The cuckoo clock in our room went started to cuckoo. Well, Pa said to Jackson, "Jackson CuckooBird". He was teasing Jackson that was his name,over and over. I was in the living room with Parker and all of a sudden I heard Jackson saying - and rather loudly, I will say - "My Name Not CuckooBird, It's Jackson Daniel Richardson, damn it~~!"

OMG! WHAT!? Johnny did I hear that right? Yes, maam! Jackson you don't say that! Boy, where did he hear that ?? daddy!? and momma?!?! Johnny & I could not control our emotions (LMAO-to say the least!) and then Jackson started crying. But then Pa was teasing him again and he would just say, "my name Jackson Daniel Richardson!" Very good Jackson.

Quiet time now! "Dot Dog" is on and Parker, Munchkin is napping. More later!

2010-Jun.18 Card Table Tent PlayTime

Here is an idea that I saw on several blogs that I peek in on. It is a cardtable tent. And my grandchildren love to play in it.

Fleece material panels that Johnny even helped me pick out.

Here it is before I sewed it, I pinned it all together and slipped it on the card table to make sure I had the right idea on making this tent. Johnny had the idea to use the fleece material first. Then, the one I actually want to make, I will use solid color material, either felt or broadcloth, and then sew felt images on to it.

It worked, all four sides are different: Winnie the Pooh, Buzz Lightyear, Frogs, Rockets and on top is a Farm with a tractor panel.

Joseph is checking out this tent, making sure it will be "fun" for his cousins to play in.

I cut a slit on the "Frog" side as a door to get into the tent.

And Jackson and Parker are here today-Friday until Saturday evening. So I brought the tent out and set up the card table. The boys really enjoyed playing in it. I think Phase II will be in the works ASAP.

The card table tent is a Big Hit!! Yeah!

The boys are all asleep now, so I was able to write this up and post these pictures.

2010-Jun.18 WooHoo It's Friday

Later on tonight Bryan and Krystyn called wanting to know how the boys were doing. Parker is sleeping and Jackson is watching "SpongeBob-Square Pants". I let Jackson talk to his daddy and then he talked to his momma -I caught him watching TV, talking to his mom and dad, and laying on a pillow on the couch. Then later when I wanted my phone, I had to play "tug o war" with him to get it back.
