2010-Feb.5 CHICKENS are getting big

Well, the chicks are turning into chickens. They contine to grow. We lost another one, he had a broken leg - I guess all the others, in their haste for food, stepped on him. He was laying low and the others culled him out on their own. But we do need to cull them, so that the ones we want to take to the LSS (LiveStockShow) will be big and fat and look good.

2010-Feb.1 Have A Smurfy Day

I used to watch the Smurfs on T.V. with my daughter when she was younger. And I really like Valentine's Day. And then I saw this while I was browsing and couldn't resist it.

2010-Jan.31 Grands stay the afternoon

Before Joseph left to go to a friends house!!

Bryan & Krystyn dropped the boys off this afternoon. They had a "get-together" with Bryan's work. So we got to play with the boys for awhile. They are so silly. We played and then the boys took a nap for a little while. And then we started again. Joseph went to a friend's house, so when Jackson woke up. . . "Where's "Go-seph"? That's what Jackson says for Joseph.

Uncle John came home early from work - he needed an oil change. So he asked Johnny (Pa) to help him change his oil (really-it was him changing it and John watching) . So Jackson, Nana & Parker sat on Nana's bed and watched for a while through the sliding glass door. Jackson kept saying, "Pa fall down?" No - Jackson, Pa is changing Uncle John's oil in his car......A few minutes later....."Pa fall down?" He was watching Pa under Uncle John's car, I guess taking off the cap to let the oil drain. I dunno!!

2010-Jan.31 CHICKENS continue to GROW & GROW

Well, we had 1 more chick die! This leaves us with 29 (& we started with "50"). But the remaining ones are still growing. Man! I think they doubled in size since the last time I posted - which was on the 29th!! And it's been so cold too!!
