2011-Apr.01 An Addition To The Family

My Niece (Lisa) and her husband (Barry) had their 2nd baby today. Their 1st is a boy, Lincoln and he just turned 3 in February. Today they had a girl, Justine Grace. What a beautiful name!

She weighed in at 7 lbs and 20 inches long at 10:15 pm on Friday. Yes, she is an April Fool's baby.

That brings another great granddaughter to my Dad. But it is sad, because I really don't think he understands. And this brings me to think about my Mother, who I do know "sees" us, and I do know she loves her too!

2011-Jan.23 Sunday Morning- Church then a Quick Visit

Lookie, Lookie, at all this material. This is courtesy of Jennifer, my sister-in-law. Thank you sooo much!! I can't wait to get back sewing and quilting. Even better, I can't wait to have a "Workshop" built. I will have a room and a bathroom in it, so I will be able to s-t-r-e-t-c-h out and leave my projects as is, while I go do something else. Thanks again Jennifer.
And to everyone else- - - If you know of anyone getting rid of unwanted material, any kind, any color, any size - - Please snatch it all up for me.

Parker is "signing" the word DADDY, You put your thumb up to the middle of your forehead and your hand is open and extend all your fingers and tap your thumb on your forehead. Mommy is about the same but you tap your chin with your thumb. Jackson is good at signing words too. He knows more, but he is older and Parker is just now learning. Good Job Krystyn!

Hugs are always good, but Jackson don't choke your brother.

Bryan, is that your new "Wheel barrow"??? Is it cheaper than the ones at Lowes? hehe

but that wheelbarrow is hauling anything, next time put Parker on that wheelbarrow- probably too heavy? huh!?

2011-Jan.20 A Sad Day for a Get-ToGether

Monday, January 17, 2011, Caryn's Dad passed away. So she flew in to Victoria to be with her family. Jason, Frances, and Morgan drove in after Jason got out of work on Wednesday. They drove all the way through, only stopping for necessities. They got to Victoria around 6:00 pm, Thursday and drove directly to the funeral home. Family and friends were gathered for a visitation. I went right after work. Thursday will be a rosary and then a funeral mass at Holy Family at 1:15 pm. So I got to visit with Frances, Jason, Caryn, Morgan. Oh MY! Today is Morgan's Birthday, he is "10" and he told everyone that "I am in the double digits now!"

Not sure what he was doing, but He wanted another picture for his Dad's F.B. The one that is on there is one that I sent Jason and it is of Morgan "Chewing" on a doggie meat bone. hehe! I think it's funny, but when Morgan found that out, he didn't like that idea and said, "I never did that!" Umm, hon, sorry to tell ya, but you did!
