Wanted to show an updated picture of Dad. He is doing well. Sitting up when Johnny and I arrived for a visit today. Of course, he was napping also. He looks really good too. Right!?

Then we made it over to Hallettsville. It was Market Days there. Not a real big turn out. I guess the rain kept alot of people away. That's ok with me. We had a great time - the Llama Pinatas were there keeping the crowd entertained. And what a great performance by Wade Stockton and his group. He even sang a couple of songs that he wrote himself and they're great.

I even got to buy a couple of goodies for me. Let's see. . . a couple pair of earrings, and a butterfly wind chime. We had a great time. See ya next time Llama Pinatas.

2010-May 14 Stitches Out Today

Dixie is back on the road going to Houston to get her stitches out today. OUCH! I am sure that's going to feel better eventually. But that is gonna SMART! Please put me to sleep for something like that. But, I guess, if you go through something like Dixie has been through, this is probably nothing in comparison. Good luck, Dixie. Love ya!

Man, I can remember bringing him home to the trailer we lived in, passed Telferner on Old Highway Road. John was an 8 pounder, 1 oz baby. Kendra had turned 2 in March that year! 1980. Seems so long ago, but yet like it was yesterday.
