2011-Apr.16 New Construction Starting

Yeah! It's happening, it will be soon now. . .

Here it is, the 1st load of sand for the foundation of our "workshop".

I am thrilled it is becoming a reality.

WOW! the 2nd load of sand. Aww man! they called and said they will be back tomorrow. We'll see. But by the weekend, our slab will be finished. And then the following week, our building will be constructed. But then to complete the inside will be a totally different thing. That will be the slow part. Oh well, it will be fun getting that part done too!

Joseph had a friend over this weekend, and I just had to snap these pictures of them playing on my merry-go-round.

It looks like they enjoyed it. Right!?! Time to get ready for church this evening.

Well, Joseph tried to steal home....

and it didn't work out this time, Coach told him to run, and they caught him between

3rd base and Home plate!

2011-Apr.12 A Card Table Tent for Lincoln

Lincoln had a "big" change in his life 12 days ago. He now has a beautiful baby sister. He had a Birthday in February, he turned 3. Of course, I am really late in getting his present to him. I had to get really busy so that I could finish it and get it sent to him (before he's too big to play with it). And today Lisa sent a picture to me of Lincoln in his tent. She was glad that it has kept him occupied and busy while she is with Justine. I was thrilled to get a picture of him with his tent and he does seem like he will enjoy playing in it. Thanks Lisa for sending me the picture - He is getting so big and is so cute too.

I also sent a little something to Justine, I made a little blanket just for her to carry and play with. The "tabbies" are different ribbons, different colors and differnt textures. You can snap on those little plastic keys, etc. so they won't fall on the floor, and the blanket has a "krinkle" in the middle, that will occupy her with the sound that she will hear it make.

Also sent her a couple of little outfits. I think she will be so cute in them.
