Man! I had better take advantage of days like these.

Bryan is trying to get transferred to the Austin area with his Job. I am being supportive and I am so excited for them to get this opportunity. And I think Krystyn is ready for a change too. But...well, you know, it is something I am trying not to think about too much just yet. I know that when the time comes, it will be hard, I mean really hard. After all, he is MY baby. And Jackson, that little "Stinky", wow! And gee whiz, the grandbaby that is on the way and due in September '09.

And I also know that it is just a couple hours drive away, but that's not the point.

Oh My God! Please, Give me strength to handle this one. !! It's gonna be a tough day when that happens.

Joseph & I met Gayle, Sarah, Emily & Michael at the
KN Drive-In in Cuero for lunch. We all had frosty mugs with either
root beer/Dr. Pepper/ice cream floats. And a tasty lunch of fish,
shrimp, grilled cheese sandwich, onion rings and french fries. Yum, Yum.
Afterwards we drove to see Dad at the nursing home.
He was laying down, so we had to give him a little nudge to sit up.
We talked a while, took some pictures, and had a nice little walk.
He is doing well, has lost some weight but overall in pretty good shape for
81 years old. He will be 82 in May.

Pre-Easter Preparations with Eggs

He had a sytem going, I think. And boy, were we were having fun,

and Pa is working hard outside to do some work around our place.
That's okay, we wrote his name on one "PA". Joseph wrote just about everyone's name on an egg.
