Horseman's Club Arena Rodeo held on July 24th Friday Night

I also got tickets to the Rodeo here. That was fun, but I have no pictures just yet. Since it was so last minute, I didn't have my camera-just my phone camera. BUT, I don't have the attachment yet to download them. Or whatever I need to do to transfer the pictures. I will go to AT &T on Monday to find that out.
The rodeo was great! The rodeo clown called on some of the kids to help out with a skit. Joseph went to help out and had a blast. Something about grabbing something from the clown and then the clown chasing the kids with his "pet" skunk. The clown assured the kids that the skunk could not spray them before all this happened. Pee Eww!!
Joseph also got to enter the calf scramble. (this is where you try to grab the ribbon off of the calf's tail.) He didn't get a ribbon but he ran his little heart out.
There was some very close calls on the bronc busting. Several times the clowns had to step in and they actually got nudged along from the bull - to help save the cowboys. Too close for me!! that's for sure.
And this was really a great time too. Although the breeze could have been blowing just a touch more than it was.

This is one silly guy!!

Joseph was sitting at the table this evening eating his dinner, when he turned to me(I was at the computer)and he said,"Hey,Nana!"."Yes."I said.Can you spell racecar? I said, "Yes, R-A-C-E-C-A-R." He then said, "Now spell it again, then spell it backwards." SO I proceeded to spell it again, "R-A-C-E-C-A-R." Then I thought I was being smart when I proceeded to spell it backwards pretty fast after spelling it forward. "Hmm, R...A...C...E...C...A...R..., there I spelled it backwards." Joseph looked at me and just started LAUGHING at me. He then said, "It is the same forward and backwards." "WHO TOLD YOU THAT," I said. "Noone, I just thought of it."

Kid- you are too smart for your britches.......

He is so silly, we will be in the car driving home and he will all of a sudden say, "Five, Five dollar, Five dollar foot long." This is from the Subway commercials.

Then, "ALL STATE STAN- are you in good hands?"

Then, "Free Credit report.com. " He can sing the whole "Pirate Restaurant" commercial.

and then, "Ford is the best in Texas."

He keeps me laughing all the time.

Pre-Easter Preparations with Eggs

Joseph looks like he is really thinking about

how he wanted to color those eggs.

He had a sytem going, I think. And boy, were we were having fun,

and Pa is working hard outside to do some work around our place.
That's okay, we wrote his name on one "PA". Joseph wrote just about everyone's name on an egg.
