Guess Where We Get To Go?

Yes, you guessed it - - Wynonna

I won tickets to the Wynonna concert in Houston. It's this Saturday, July 25th. It's short notice, but the radio station called me today. They announced 5 winners that won tickets to the concert on the radio.
So on Saturday, Johnny & I will be on our way to Houston.
I'll let 'ya know about it when we get back.
Hope I get some pictures that turn out.
And I hope we don't end up "in the nose bleed" section. It would be great if it's the section that has all the food and drinks right there.
Wishful thinking, huh!?!?!
I signed up on the radio station for all sorts of raffle items. I really wanted to weekend get-a-way to Galvestion. But the concert will be great - she's a great singer!

Wow! I remember driving when I was young, BUT I was sitting on my Dad's lap, to be high enough to see out of the front window, with his strong arms keeping me safe, keeping us safe, AND, should I even say this, when it was my time to learn to drive, Dad let me drive. . . in all places. . . a cemetery. (No one could get hurt, right!?) But, never do I remember driving like this.

Well, I guess I should confess, that I hadn't gotten my official license yet, I was taking driver's ed, Mom & Dad had gone to Grandma's house (in Schulenburg), I took the car that was left at home and drove to my friends house. But, of course, knowing that this was wrong, I felt guilty the whole time I was driving around. . . I wasn't gone too long. And boy!, was I nervous about them finding out. And if they ever did find out, they never said anything to me.



Of course, what you don't see in the pictures. . Pa IS sitting in the truck too! Helping, watching, keeping him safe, teaching him the steps of what he should do.
Maybe he won't feel the need to take the car like I did.
