2009-Dec.30 Christmas Visit with Dad

Gayle and her children came to visit Dad and I met them at the Nursing Home. It is always good to see them and Dad. So I just couldn't pass up this occasion. Dad was looking very good and I think he always enjoys a visit from us (his girls) and also he loves seeing the Grandchildren. We sat out in the main lobby with the Christmas tree.

And very easy, because I didn't make it. My daughter-in-law, Krystyn, did. I thought I could have eaten the whole thing. Thanks, Krystyn. keep on cooking and baking!

2009-Dec.26 Christmas isn't over yet! Round 2

Kendra, Joe, and Jacquelyn came over on Saturday for Christmas. Jacquelyn got to open all of her presents from Nana & Pa. We also got to visit a while. John Thomas and Bryan had to work today. Actually, Bryan shouldn't have gone in. He is still bruised and very sore from his accident. But being a Richardson, that also means "stubborn" - so he went to work.

We had a real nice visit with all the Grands. Merry Christmas to All!

Christmas is a wonderful time - especially with family all around! Kendra, Joe & Jacquelyn couldn't make it today, but will be here tomorrow. Round 2 then!

Bryan seems a little more enthused about that book than John does. What do you think? Not really, John likes it too! He just had a late night! The book is about their PawPaw and MawMaw, Jack & Alta. I made one for Alta and then had copies made for our 3 children. The book consists of letters written between Jack & Alta while Jack was in the service. When Alta showed me those letters I couldn't resist. Those letters were so cute and loving. Now, we have a remembrance of that time in their lives. Thanks for sharing Alta.

Joseph, give that back to Uncle Bryan!
