2010-Jul.22 Surprise Visitors at Nana's Work

Today for lunch, Christina and I went to pick up beef fajita quesadillas,yummo! Bryan called while we at Ventura's and said he would like to stop by my work and eat lunch with me. They were already waiting on me when we arrived back at work. Bryan picked up McDonald's and we all ate lunch together. What a very enjoable lunch today! Thanks Bryan and Jackson for stopping by to see Nana today!! Love you!!

2010-Jun.30 Who Is Who??

I think certain things are just automatically handed down from Dad or Mom - even if we don't want it to be. In this case, it's not a bad thing at all. It is something that, when someone takes a picture, they don't realize that, years later, the same picture will be taken again somewhere down through the generations. And if your like me, I know I have it, I just can't find the right album that I want until I have dragged out every album. In my case, I have been married to the same man for 33 years this September, and I have an album for each year we have been married.
So here it is. . . Can you tell - who is who? These guys are so silly, it must be "All In The Family", get it, the old show -"All in the Family". Oh well, I thought it was funny, hehe, and it's my blog - So there!

So the saying, "LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON" is soo true. And Son, I have to tell you - lovingly - that you have many wonderful years ahead and some "Not so wonderful". But like my Mother told me, "Take aspirin." It sounds silly, but it does help some. Well, aspirin or "Xanax" - I like the latter, it takes effect quicker and might even last a little longer. :)

2009-Dec.24 Shh! Santa's Coming Tonight

All is calm, All is bright..... and best of ALL . . .

All is sleeping, dreaming of Santa Claus coming to drop off presents. At least this year Joseph is sleeping in his own bed. (Remember, last year he slept in a sleeping bag right by the tree so he could "catch" Ole St. Nick. But Santa caught him, sleeping, and snapped a picture of him.)

Poor Bryan has to sleep sitting in Dad's chair.

2009-Dec.23 OMG OMG OMG OMG

When will people start listening to me? I really wanna know!
This is what happens when they don't. And by "people" and "they" I mean my Children and Grandchildren. In particular this time, Bryan and Joseph. They know NOT to go on the road with the 4-wheeler and the dirt bike,but OH NO! It's fun to do what you're not suppose to. Right!? - - - WRONG! Yes, they took the bike and the 4-wheeler on the road. I think they were "racing" each other. One cut in front of the other, and voila! WRECK! WIPEOUT! INJURY!
OMG! Joseph came a running, "Uncle Bryan is hurt". "He can't get up!" Krystyn went running. I had the 2 babies with me, but I got in the car, and drove up the hill to find my son. . covered in blood and delirious. "I'm okay" he said. I don't think so. Get in the car, leave the d *&^n bike, we'll get it later (or not!). You need to go to the ER. NO I don't. Yes you do. Nope. This went on and on. Until he told me, "What Happened?" Oh My Gosh! Krystyn get him in the car and take him NOW! Bryan you are going! I don't need to. GET IN THE D*&^%n car NOW!. Several hours later, no broken bones, no concusion - Thank God! He got stitches and pain meds. He will definitely need those. Just look at him!. My poor Baby - next time. . listen to yo momma!!

OUCH! EWW! EEK!

What a way to be over the Christmas Holidays. Oh well, I guess we'll remember this one. Huh?!

# 4 GRAND is here!! Yeah! He is so handsome, he looks like his big brother did, Except he has a "Kirk Douglas" chin! you know, the cute little dimple on his chin. Mom, baby, Dad & Jackson are all doing fine. He was born at 12:49 pm -we didn't get there until around 3:30, we had to wait and get Joseph out of school, didn't want to get him out too early. We got home around 9:00 pm from Corpus. Yes, we were tired, but I was so ecstatic about the baby - and by the way his name is Parker Wyatt. Bryan and Krystyn did good! He is precious, just like Jackson.
