2010-Jul.17 Weekend Fun

Friday after work, Johnny & Joseph met me in town at the movies. We went to see "Inception" with Leonardo DiCaprio. The movie was good, weird, interesting, confusing, and I will definitely have to rent it went it comes to the RedBox.

Bryan and Krystyn came out Friday night to stay overnight. Bryan works on Saturday, but as soon as he gets off work to head to San Antonio for a DTC dinner. The store Bryan was at previously hit a big $$ mark, so this is how they celebrate and congratulate the guys. They thought it would be easier for them to have the boys already here and then just leave from our house. The dinner was held at a hotel Saturday night.

"Help Me Go-seph!" Jackson said to Joseph! Joseph really didn't want to but HE DID! Thanks Go-seph!

The boys "ran" all day long, so when Bryan and Krystyn hit the road, Jackson laid down in his Uncle John's room to watch "SpongeBob SquarePants". He wasn't watching it 5 minutes when Jackson passed out on his bed. He slept for about an hour and a half. But when it got dark, I asked Jackson, "What happens when it gets dark?" "It not night-night time." Jackson said. And I said, "Oh yes it is." He laid right down and he was out. Then Parker went down a little later.

The boys were all so good !! Night!!

2010-Jul.13 A Gift that is still Living - Yeah!

John Thomas bought this Bonsai Tree and brought it to me for Valentine's Day in February, this year. Well, I am happy to report that my Bonsai Tree is still alive and is looking really good. Today I even gave it a trim. You know, I picked off the little, tiny brown parts. Those little, tiny brown parts are like stickers. The new growth is very soft and flexible to the touch. But - Don't Touch My Bonsai Tree. Dixie even said it is looking good. I am really enjoying my Bonsai Tree.
You know, we, well actually, Johnny wanted and bought himself a Bonsai Tree quite a while back and it did not survive very long. So I am kind of proud of myself that it has been 5 months and my little tree is still going strong.
Thank you so much John for bringing this little tiny Bonsai Tree to me. I will do my very best to keep it growing-Mr. Miyagi, the elderly gardner in the 1984 movie, "Karate Kid"!! hehe :)

2010-Jul.12 Mr. Cool

Joseph decided to dress up today. Our neighbor and friend, Wade, gave this to us for Joseph. It had been his jacket a while ago. So today, Joseph walked in the living room with this jacket on. It looks a little stiff on him and just fits him now. I'm sure he doesn't need it right now - you know, with the temperatures in the 90's and the humidity levels making it feel 105 plus.

2010-Jul.11 WOW! You Just won't Believe This!!!

Jacquelyn is going home today and I had to take a few more pictures of her before she goes. And also with the finished mobile that we made together. I sent her home with it and a door hanger so she can put it in on her door and hopefully remember when we made this together. I had fun doing this project with her. She so Beautiful!! Isn't She. You don't have to answer, I know that she is.

Oh, I almost forgot. The bribe was. . . If he cut his hair and KEEPS it cut, Pa told him that he will get Joseph a PHONE! I'm not sure about that, but it's all said and done. The trick is that Joseph has to "keep" it cut like this, or the phone gets turned off.
