2011-Apr.01 An Addition To The Family

My Niece (Lisa) and her husband (Barry) had their 2nd baby today. Their 1st is a boy, Lincoln and he just turned 3 in February. Today they had a girl, Justine Grace. What a beautiful name!

She weighed in at 7 lbs and 20 inches long at 10:15 pm on Friday. Yes, she is an April Fool's baby.

That brings another great granddaughter to my Dad. But it is sad, because I really don't think he understands. And this brings me to think about my Mother, who I do know "sees" us, and I do know she loves her too!

2011-Mar.31 2nd Game of the Season

Ooops! I forgot my camera, and wouldn't you know it! Joseph got on base, (with a Walk!); he stole 2nd base; he stole 3rd base; and when the other team dropped the ball; he stole home plate, I should say he slid home. (I'm still soaking those pants! can't get out that red dirt) His score broke the tie game (was 4-4); Then 2 other guys made a run. The final score: 4 - 7 (We won!) Yeah!! Next Game: April 7th, Thursday Hope to see some of you there!

It didn't turn out quite like they had hoped, but they'll get 'em next time.

Only good thing about this game: we got outta there by 9:30 pm.
