2010-Feb.13th thru 14th

I had the most horrible migraine when I woke up on Saturday and it lasted until Sunday (but still had a small lingering headache thru Monday -on my day off-of course). Of course, we had so much we wanted to do this weekend.

But then late in the evening I remembered this wonderful gift that my sister Gayle sent to me when I had my shoulder surgery in January. I took the mask out and slipped it on. It felt so good not to see any light at all. It so came in handy!!

THANK YOU, GAYLE. This came at just the right time. You always know just the right thing to do and say. I love you!!

2010-Feb.12 Valentine's Day Coming Up

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!! everyone.

I just bought some scrapbooking paper-there are too many to pick from. And I wanted the boys to not go eeww! so I pick some neutral patterns - even some 4th of July, red, white and blue paper.

We've got this Valentine's "thing" under control. That is, Thanks to another blog I was perusing. I was looking through blogs posting and came across http://everydaycelebrating.com/ blog. She had her pictures there and some really easy How-to's, so I took a peek and voila! They are too easy.

She showed these cute valentine flowers to make. And POOF! they were done. Thank you so much for the wonderful idea. A very easy project for anyone and everyone.

Are you ready? We are! Joseph has his Valentine's ready and his "Box" ready to go, even chips and dips are ready.

2010-Feb.12-14 Baseball Tryouts This Weekend

Baseball tryouts for Joseph is this weekend! We are so excited too!

There are 3 dates for these tryouts-Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Joseph has been practicing for this for a while now. I just found out today that the tryouts for today - Friday - is cancelled due to the rain that we have been having. So now Joseph has just 2 days for these tryouts. Saturday morning we will be there at 10:00 a.m. Hopefully those fields will dry out for tomorrow.

OH JUST GREAT... I wake up with a migraine-not a headache-a MIGRAINE. So what can you do for a migraine? I took aspirin, ibuprofen and Fioricet and all at the same time. It did nothing to help. And this was 3 X today. Nothing.

I am going anyway. I sit there with my hands over my eyes and moaning the whole time.

And I have Krysytn meeting me there at the baseball complex. She is going to Houston for the day with a friend and I, I mean WE will watch the boys. Burrr! It's cold. I kept Parker especially wrapped up, bought gloves on the way in-because I forgot mine at home. I even bought a small pair for Jackson-that were still TOO big, but they did the trick anyway. It felt warm in the sun. Jackson enjoyed watching for "Go-seph" that means Joseph in Jackson language.

Joseph did great for his 1st year. He did just as good as all the others that have been playing for years. We will find out the team he will be on next week. I will post it here for anyone wanting to go to the practices or even the games. Jackson says he wants to go MOM & DAD - so get ready to see some ball.

Bryan and his mother-in-law came over after Bryan got off of work to pick up the boys. Susan had his vehicle so she picked him up and he took her home after picking up the boys. They were good today, but I just felt so yuk! Sorry Jackson, next time it will be more fun at Nana's.

2010-Feb.2 -Computer problems

Computer has been on the fritz and can't upload pictures. And I want to update on Joseph's chickens. They are getting so BIG. It's getting closer to Stock Show time. It will be here before you know it. Actually, we will have to have the chickens at the stock show on Thursday, Feb 25th. But those chickens better start expanding really fast. We were told that we need to cull some out, we have too many left. We should only have about 12 -1 5 that we should be concentrating on right now. And get this.......We will have to have those chickens "cleaned and groomed". Wow! I never would have "thunk it". hehe....Anyway, as soon as we get our computer running again, I will update you on things.
