Something we are definitely going to miss around here after this weekend. Bryan, Krystyn, Jackson and Parker will be moving to their own place. They will be in a mobile home. A nice fenced backyard for Jackson to play outside with a swing. Jackson & Parker each with their own room. I'm missing you already- Love you too much - - "Lu Lu Lu" means, "I love you."

2010-Jan.13 - Day 1- WE GOT CHICKENS

Here are the baby chicks all huddled together

trying to stay warm-under the heat lamps!!

OH NO! We found one of the baby Chicks that didn't make it. Maybe it was the trauma of it all. But now we are down to 49 chicks. We'll have to wait and see how many make it through this cold,rainy weather.

these are not pets Joseph." Oh boy, the reality of it all.

We are supposed to have some really bad weather coming in the next couple of days. Lots of rain, they say there may even be flooding in our area and Hail too!

Not good weather for baby chicks with this cold weather.

Now there are "49"!

2010-Jan.12 PA & Parker Playtime

Just hope he just didn't eat PA- :)

A little fun before bedtime is always a good thing.

Especially with MY PA !!

He's getting so big, growing up right before our eyes.

He has started holding his head up more and more.

Watching t.v. when we are holding him in our laps.

Really watching us as we walk by with his eyes.

Smiling when I tickle his little "piggies".

AND, laughing when he tries to "pee" on his Nana when

I am trying to change his diaper.

It's gonna be hard not to have Jackson & Parker here everyday

when I get home from work. Not hearing Jackson's little feet run from

his bed to the living room - "the little Pitter, Patter sounds".

Hearing him say, "Where's "Goseph"? that's how he says "Joseph".

And telling "KIKI" that's KiWi - our bird - to

"shop vac"- which means "stop that".

2010-Jan.11 We're Ready for the Chickens

Our New Neighbors - for a while anyway!

Bryan, Krystyn, Jackson & Parker will be moving into

their own place soon-this week or next week. Oh, my.. it's gonna

be so quiet here, none of us will know what to do.

But we won't be lonely for very long. We are getting

"new boarders". They will have their very own house though.

Bryan and Krystyn- hope y'all aren't too jealous about this.

These "boarders" will be. . . . . . . . . . .

Above-Chickens new home with the heat lamps on!

Johnny will be picking them up - all 50 of them -

on Wednesday, Jan. 13th. I guess we're ready for them.

Oh Yea! I will be having surgery on Friday,15th on my Left shoulder-I have a small tear on my Rotator cuff. Not looking forward to this at all-I tried to prevent this by going to Physical Therapy, then I tried steriod shots-several of them - they wouldn't give me anymore. So now!-surgery! YUK! Johnny will be a busy man on Friday.

He is going to take me to have the surgery, then will "drop me off" and then go help Bryan move, IF, that is, it's not raining like the weather channel is predicting. Maybe by Saturday it will blow through. OR, maybe it won't get here until Saturday. Only time will tell.

Hope you stay dry where ever you may be. I know I will be stuck in the house - recuperating.

2010-Jan.10 Is It A Tattoo? on Parker/Jackson Dressin Up

What? Parker has a Tattoo!? on his right leg?

Not! It's his birthmark. Kinda looks like a

butterfly, doesn't it?!

I just love when the kids would dress up in anything they could find. And Jackson is doing just that. Below - -"Now I in Momma's boots!"
And here is Jackson, playing dress up with his rainjacket, and his Mom's glasses & Mom's boots. (and umm, a diaper!?!)

He could hardly walk in those cowboy boots (actually, I mean cow-GIRL boots!).

Give Parker a hug, Jackson. But not too tight! AWW!

Room is ready for it's inhabitants- the baby chicks.

I'm not sure why there isn't one with Jacquelyn and her blanket. "Hmm, Mom-I need one!."

I hope with the little ones use these blankets they will know that Nana & Pa are wrapping them with all of their love.
