When will it Rain again

Johnny worked hard yesterday fixing our driveway so that we can park our cars on it. Our next door neighbor, Wade, let him use his tractor to make the job alot easier. It's so nice to be able to drive up on our carport now. We can fit 4 vehicles on it, but mostly it will be our 3 cars on it. Now, all we need is the cover for it and we will be set. We watered our "dirt" too. Well, we have some grass but not much. We will need to be more diligent in watering since we haven't had any rain.

Planting Trees & Now We Could Use Some Rain

Joseph has been a big help. I found him outside this morning planting another Oak Tree. He did it all on his own too. He dug the hole, put the tree in the ground, covered it up and then watered the tree too. We are so proud of him. But now is his time to play. He's outside with our "back pasture" neighbor's son, they go to the same school, and get along pretty well.

Now the real trick will be to keep all 11 trees alive. We have seen no rain since, gosh, last year, and I really can't remember when it did actually rain.
