IF you use your crane that's attached to the back of your truck to hang your "floating chair" and do a bit of relaxing.

Yes, that is Johnny and we were outside this evening, enjoying this most wonderful weather and listening to some tunes (from the truck radio). I also spotted a deer, who looked like she was trying to figure out what we were doing. There were deer under the feeder while we were out there. Yes, it was dark, but not that dark, that moon looks almost full and did I mention the weather is absolutely great. Johnny even let me try out that "Redneck chair". It was oh so comfortable, and so relaxing. But I had to get a jacket and also a blanket for my legs. What a wonderful weekend!

2011-Feb.13 WooHoo! An Early Valentines

Wow! I got home from watching Jackson and Parker on Saturday night and look at what I found! Aren't these beautiful! They are from John Thomas. I love 'em. Thank you so much John Thomas.


After Johnny woke up, I fixed pork chops and gravy with yams and corn for dinner. Then we decided to sit out on the porch. Joseph was playing on his skateboard and Dallas got in on the fun too! He was doing pretty good too! And then even tried climbing the tree to get Joseph! Okay, I'm going in now - it's getting kinda cool out here on the porch. I sure hope it will be cool (not cold) when I have my surgery, so that I can recuperate on the porch that week.

It was a nice weekend, but too quiet. Johnny sleeping all day, I just laid around all weekend, except to go out to Bryan's to watch the boys. . . . Lazy days !! I know.

2011-Feb.05 What a Beautiful Day!

First, I have a question for everyone. How come no one has told me that I have been dating my titles with the year "2010" ??? I just noticed this and ITS FEBRUARY people! Have you been laughing at me. Well, it is kinda funny! But next time - give me a shout out. okay? thank you!

Today is a beautiful day, isn't it! But then again ALL of my days have been AWESOME since December! Even when there are clouds in the sky, I still Thank God everyday for everything HE has allowed me to enjoy! I should say for "Everyone" HE has given me. My beautiful, wonderful children and their spouses and ALL of my "Grands". I simply just can't say this enough. Thank you God for all of my miracles. And I can truly say, He has given me a miracle.


Below, Johnny is starting to put up a tower for our internet. Hmm! let me see now!
he is gonna try to weld something. Does anyone know a Good Welder? Help!! :)


He's not really welding yet, but he will attempt to soon. This was his idea-"come take some pictures out here." I thought he had put the tower up already, NOT! He won't be able to "play" with this again until after his shutdown his over.

But I surely can't wait for faster internet. It won't be here soon enough.

2011-Jan.02 Sunday around the ole homestead

Joseph, OMG, my how you've grown. Joseph got that "Tractor Sexy" when he was 2 years old. A little younger and just a little smaller than Jackson is now. Okay, back then the song came out "She Thinks my Tractors Sexy" by Kenny Chesney in 1999 and Joseph would dance around and sing, try to sing as best he could ..."Tractor Sexy"....

and now look at him, he has to sit on the back of the seat-ouch!

In case you are wondering about this "sky" picture, look really close do you see them, all those birds! They are flying over the deer carcasses the guys threw out. Yuk! I'm going in, I don't won't them flying over my head. Last time, Joseph went over and laid down to see if they would come "pick" on him. They didn't - imagine that- I guess he didn't SMELL BAD ENOUGH!! huh!? ewwww

We were walkin' through Nana's ....shhh! "Secret Forrest" and Joseph came at us with this stinky purple "pop pop"! It really was just smoke but I didn't know that then, but it did stink.
