2010-Dec.23-OMG-It's Almost That Time

Joseph is getting to be quite the "Chef" in the kitchen; He started with making "Roman Numerals" that what he called Ramien Noodles; then went to Mac N Cheese; and now

it has evolved to the oven- he has done frozen pizzas and NOW. . . Dinner Rolls, you know those crescent rolls yum yum! Keep going Joseph, one day you can make me a full dinner. I just can't wait for that day.

And puppy likes it in the kitchen, especially right under my feet!

I saw on a blog that someone was making "pompom" bows. It's been a very long time, but I really enjoyed making these and I put one on every package. I normally don't even add bows, but this year, for some reason, I was really into "the Christmas spirit". I overloaded with decorations this year. But everyone seemed to like it. I hope anyway!

What, another wreath on the door!? Just one more. I think that's what I said the last time. But I needed this just one more- - - done!

2010-Dec.11 More Decorating-Yes, More More

Johnny went in to town this morning. He had errands to run, like ummm, grocery shopping, buying garland and oh yeah, picking up the boys, Jackson & Parker. We are watching them while Bryan and Krystyn go to San Antonio for his Discount Tire Christmas party.




While Johnny & I were putting lights on the front porch, Joseph had the boys on his lap. Joseph was holding them and just a talking to them. All of a sudden I tuned in to what he was saying,

"Now boys, what is it that you want for Christmas? Come on now, tell Santa."

Parker just loves riding on the 4-wheeler. Jackson didn't get on it when he was that young, but Parker just "goes to town" on it.

Parker is riding along and LOOK! He can get off all by himself. NO problem, Nana!

2010-Dec. 8 Another Wednesday/Little More Decorating

I just can't stop decorating, I just can't help myself. There are so many cute projects all over the web. So I keep looking and keep creating.

This picture was taken after 2 of the Grands - Jackson & Parker - came out to the house. I saved candy cane decorations for the to add to the tree. They had fun too. Thank you so much boys for helping Nana. Oh, and Joseph helped too!




I found the green camo stockings at the Dollar Store, but I didn't want the same color for Jacquelyn, so I went to Hobby Lobby and bought some pink camo and went to work. I bought some felt letters for their names, then found some "button" decorations. Hobby Lobby also had a bling, bling "frame" for their pictures. Hot glue here I come.... ouch, burn, blisters. That darn hot glue gun. Then I also already had some gift tags, that I used the snowmen for each stocking.


I think they turned out really great, right!?!

And from "ABC Distributing", I had ordered a Star Stocking Holder -

They fit great on it.

Then, I saw a "Nascar" wreath picture and back to the Dollar Store for another wreath and small cars in a box there too, and I already had the checkered material (actually, it is felt, cut in strips) for the bow. I love it and hope all the boys will too.
