Yeah! I watched Jackson this afternoon while Bryan went with Krystyn for a doctor's visit. Jackson was really tired and slept most of the time and I watched Dr. Phil about the California "woman" (OctoMom) who had 6 kids and then had "8" babies. I think that situation is very sad for those children. She was only thinking of herself.
Well, back to the baby date. . . . They said it will be the end of September - around the 27th. But, maybe even a little sooner than that, because Krystyn will have a c-section and Bryan & Krystyn will pick the date. Her doctor will be on vacation the end of Sept so it will probably be earlier in the month. That's okay with me....
They won't know the sex for a little while longer though. I keep kidding Bryan that it will be a boy - - so they will try again later for a girl. He doesn't like that I say that. He wants a girl this time so they won't have anymore. I just like to kid around with him - - I will be ecstatic and overy joyed what ever the baby will be. I am so looking forward to having another grandbaby. I love being "Nana". I never knew it could feel like this.
I saw the absolute cutest little outfit today for a girl. I can't wait to buy little dresses and outfits too for a baby girl.
I so wish my Mom were here. There is so much that I never talked to her about. I was so busy raising my children and working. And now all those silly things that I thought were so important -well, I have found- that well, they just aren't that important. But now, My Mother is gone-it will be 6 years this October 8th and I just miss her so much. I still find myself thinking and reaching for the phone to call her. And the other night, I had a dream and I know she was there in it, even though I could not see her. I remember calling her in the dream but I could never quite hear her or talk to her. Then I remember being sad when I woke up-that I couldn't reach her.
She loved her grandchildren (all 14) and great grandchildren (3)--WOW! And now her
Great-grandchildren have increased to 5 and soon will be 7. (with Bryan's due in Sept, and we just heard that 1 of my nieces will have a baby in Nov.) What a legacy to leave behind, so many that was brought about from Her & Dad.
She so loved them, each and every one. I remember, the 1st Christmas without her was hard, but I found it even harder when we discovered some gifts that she had already bought for grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was really thinking ahead. She even had a 1st communion gift for one of my nieces that was making her 1st Communion that next May. She also had bought a gift for 1 of my nephews that had been talking about going to school in Arizona to learn to work on Harleys. She was so amazing. No one comes close to her.
I even remember her telling me, when I was visiting her in the hospital, that she wanted me to bring Joseph up to see her. I hadn't brought him because I didn't want him to make her nervous or anything, but she said that she just loved to see him. He still talks about his GreatGrandma. He always loved to see her and his Great Grandpa (whom he would walk outside with and help Great Grandpa pick pecans in their yard). He turned 5 two days before she passed away and he still talks about her. And he reminds me of things when she was here.
Wow, I think I got off the subject a little here. Sorry!
